Watermelon Lime Slushies

A perfect way to cool off and “eat the rainbow” at the same time!

WHAT YOU NEED:

2 cups watermelon cubes or balls

2 cup ice

Juice of 2 limes (about ¼ cup)

Water (as needed to make slushie desired consistency)

MAKING IT:

Using cold running water, wash and pat dry the melon. Scoop out pink flesh of watermelon using a large spoon or melon ball scoop.  Place fruit in measuring cup; you need about 2 cups total.

Add all ingredients to blender (start with 1 cup of ice, then add the second cup after a few seconds of blending). Blend on high speed until the ice is crushed and slushie is desired consistency, adding additional fruit, ice or water as needed. Makes about 3 cups.
