Slice of whole grain or multigrain bread, toasted

Spread: nut butter, jelly/jam
Fruit: banana, apples, fresh berries
Crunch: chopped nuts, cacao nibs, granola, coconut flakes
Flavor: cinnamon, drizzle of maple syrup or honey
Savory
Spread: hummus, mashed avocado
Crunch: sesame seeds, hemp seeds
Flavor: hot pepper flakes, fresh herbs, lemon juice
MAKING IT:
Toast bread; add favorite toppings as desired, beginning with a spread as first layer.
